Tea, Scones and ARSENIC
In ARSENIC, you are members of anĀ old English aristocratic family. Your uncle fromĀ AmericaĀ had the excellent idea of āāpassing away bequeathing you his immense fortune.
To celebrate the event, you decide to go forĀ teaĀ and enjoy someĀ scones. However, each being equally greedy, each of the heirs decides to poison the cookies withĀ ArsenicĀ (a safe bet) in order to increase their share of the inheritance. Digestion promises to be difficult...
Can you survive this ordeal?
ARSENIC is aĀ family game, forĀ 1 to 6 players, fromĀ 7 years old. The game lasts aboutĀ 15 minutes.
Itās aĀ party-gameĀ full ofĀ bluff,Ā strategyĀ and a hint ofĀ luck. Players must compete boldly but with self control to stop before itās too late. A good statistical analysis of the remaining cookies and their potential dangerousness should give you an advantage... But these reassuring figures are unfortunately often distorted by the limitless treachery of your opponents. Be careful because sometimes it takes very little to get trapped in a poisonous downfall...
The trick is to best estimateĀ the right time to stop. That is to say, when only remain in the box a handful of cookies potentially all poisoned. When one player stops, the othersĀ are forced to continue for 2 more turns. Therefore, beware of the other players expressions as they draw, in order to estimate their level of poisoning. This will help you choose the right time to give them the final blow. Obviously, they can play the fool and hide their true state (those tricksters!). However, make sure you have a good amount of cookies so you donāt loose the legacy for one or two cookies less than another survivorĀ
